Movado's celebrated bold black Museum dial, with its elegant Dauphine hands and single concave dot, is set off beautifully by a polished steel bezel. This signature dial, famously introduced for Movado by American designer Nathan George Horwitt in 1947, is intended to evoke images of a sun dial, with the dot representing the sun at high noon. The watch is set in a solid steel case and presents on a steel link bracelet with brushed and polished pieces. The concave dot motif is repeated on the bracelet, which joins with a push-button, double-locking clasp for a secure closure and a seamless look. Other notable features of this watch include a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, precise Swiss quartz movement, and water resistance to 30 meters.
